I dont think that AE and Hollister hire 18+... (But i'm not arguing about this though) At least here in Chicago if u walk in to any of these stores, you will see a lot of employees looking like 16 yrs old. I've heard they get crazy discounts on their clothes, that's why a lot of teenagers want to work there.

Abercrombie and Fitch is 18+
Hollister is 17+ Not completely sure about abercrombie (kids store)...if I had to guess I'd say 17+ as well. Been at Abercrombie and Fitch for several months now as a part-time associate. It's a pretty relaxed job (greeting people) and the discounts aren't too bad either.

As far as the discount goes, 30% (40% for full-time) off any reg price item, anytime. But when a new floor set comes around, usually for fall/spring/summer, we get a "AAA" discount of 50% off 2 tops (that are on a manikin) and a pair of jeans. I just went in last night and bought ~$280 (incl. tax) worth of clothes for ~$160 using combinations of the discounts I mentioned. Not bad if you like their style. I, for one, do. Hollister...you hit the nail on the head.
