Mercedes EQC EV

All they had to do was make it look normal, but they couldn’t resist giving it that face

Yeah, it's like an ugly CRV with the tail of a Lincoln. MB is lost and their interiors are quite possibly the worst thing going.

After all those awful looking Teslas with their cheap interiors, it’s good to see the big boys like Mercedes give it a try.

Ugly, but for what it's worth it's got 50% more hp than the iX3 and looks way better than the iNext. Jag is the best out of the bunch.

That's a Friday evening design job, after a good few drinks have been had.

If it didn't have the MB Star in the middle of the grill you'd never guess it was German, looks like a Kia.

Speaking of, could they make that star any bigger?

They really want people to know this is a Mercedes-Benz.

Kias are OK, that looks more Daewoo to me.

they just had to make this into a weird looking car when all they had to do was tweak the glc's front face a little.

looks aside, the range has me worried. multiple sources are quoting around 200 miles, even their own press release said "up to 200 miles", which the was quickly redacted by Daimler saying it gets 280 miles on the NEDC cycle. I'll wait and see the final EPA number, if it's lower than the Model X 75D that's not a good start for Mercedes.

Despite all these i think this will sell well, the brand is still there, the interior feels nicer than any tesla, and most people don't need all that range anyways. they just need to price this around a glc43 and no more than 65K loaded.

Absolutely zero percent of the design language in that vehicle is M-B.

Take the hood/grille badges off and I wouldn't know who the heck made it.

I think the design and interior are fine for what they are (Merc SUVs are lame Asian mom cars anyway).

What gets me is the range. 200 miles, seriously? Tesla X has been around for years with more range than that.
