A few questions for the group:

1) Drivers have always jumped from the cars due to KERS, but at Melbourne this year, I noticed several drivers exiting their cars without concern of shock. (One leg at a time, creating a ground loop) What has changed?

2) Did Toro Rosso borrow BMW Velvet Blue or is that San Marino Blue?

Killer shots, thanks for posting.

I wouldn't go THAT far, but I guess all of the top guys get a bit too used to winning, and not actually having to work through problems to get their machine's home. With overtaking expected to be difficult (and it was), he should have just stayed out and waited for better positioning to pit.

Hindsight being what it is, this course of action would have been perfect. It's only one race so maybe things change. Maybe a competitive season between two different teams will make the season more exciting to watch.

The Power Units nowadays are totally different from the KERS era, the way the battery discharge and design is different from 2009 when KERS just being introduced. I believe battery pack insulation had also changed and improved.

Not sure about racing overalls, they might be somewhat insulated as well.

Nope, Toro Rosso has nothing to do with BMW. The livery is to promote Red Bull Simply Cola brand.

To add to the above, the current cars feature a safety light that denotes whether the car is safe for personnel to touch or not. Green is safe, Red is unsafe to touch
