Driver Side Glass window Job
Hi,
New to this forum , so pardon me if I am posting in the wrong section. Someone broke into my Bimmer(325i 2005) this morning from Driver side Rear window, quater glass (its ridiculous!!). I got up this morning and found it all shattered. I did call the cops but as usual , they said they cant do much at the moment and would let me know if they find something. I also called my insurance company (AAA) and filed the claim. Unfrotuntely my deductable is $500 , so I am not sure how cost effective it would work out to be. Any rough estimate of the # , how much would it cost to me ? that should give me an idea to go with my insurance or not. My car is still under manufacture's warranty. I am looking for some suggestions 1.Take it to dealership, but I think it would obvioiusly cost me more to fix there than outside 2. Any good shops for BMW's around in Santa clara or mountian view or San jose where I can get fixed at reasonable price and get quality work done ?? Please share your experiences/thoughts/suggestions thanks in advance. UN |

Can't help you with where to take it besides a BMW dealership. It may be a bit more expensive but at least you know quality parts are being used.
It definitely should not cost over $200 for a quarter panel window alone.
