BMW's 100th birthday festival held at the Olympia Park...
BMW pulled out all the stops for a awesome celebration this weekend. Over at the Welt there was a special display of cars. Outside was a demonstration of how xDrive works. Across the street from the Welt, in the Olympia Park there were thousands of BMW car club owners/cars. As you pulled into the local, BMW took you & your car's pic... then you could pick it up later at their photo booth. Music and food were also available. It was a great event. I read on line that BMW had around 30K people at the Welt & Park this day. I believe it because I've never seen the Welt so packed. In fact BMW staff were limiting people entering the building... which I've never seen them do that before! Ok, onto my pics...  Also special thanks to qdtjant for an awesome day!  Here are my random pics of the event. These were just some of the cars that caught my eye.  Dackel WTF ? This was an e28 5er made into a wagon. The more I looked the more I liked it. Then... just when I was blown away... around the corner were another e28 kombi!!

I only filmed less than half of the parking lot area where all the club cars were parked. What was cool is every row was by car model. To me it seemed like the entire Z3 and Z1 production was in attendance! There was even a blue Z1 Alpina there!! What a cool event to be part of!!

A look at BMW Festival - The next 100 years...
Munich, Germany... Saturday, September 10th, 2016 I thought'd I put together some pics of Saturday's festival. It was really a great event to be a part of. These pics don't really need any intro. BMW had events held in front of the Welt & BMW Museum and also across the street at the Olympia Park and BMW Classic. Inside the Welt were special display's of race cars and old classic BMW's along with the new BMW models. All and all it was a great day to be a BMW fan. So... by now you all have seen my coverage of BMW Classic's cars that were on display. Here is what went on at the Welt, Museum and Olympia Park.  Lets first start over at the Welt...

BMW Car Club Cars from around the world. Yes, around the world. I saw licence plates from all over Europe. But what surprised me were eight or so car from the USA and even as far as Brazil!! Enjoy...
Olympia Park... as you drove into the Olympia Park... BMW took your picture... like this... Then you could pick up a copy here...

Wow, going to take a while to get through all of the glorious photos and videos... What a lot of love for BMW! Fantastic! The Isetta with the M stripes - love it!
So many great cars, very jealous of all those who got to attend . But very much appreciate the effort to post all these great photos!
