RIP Sean Taylor
The Redskins safety, former UM star recently passed due to gun shot wounds from a attempted robbery at his house (he was the victim). He lost a tremendous amount of blood and flat lined 2 during a 6 hour surgery but reports were that he was responsive and over the night he passed. Sad situation. He had some trouble but he was a great player and was trying to clean up his life due to a recent child. Everyone say a prayer for his family, very sad sad situation.

He was a great athlete. A top 3 player at his position. When stuff like this happens, it reminds people that just because you're an allstar on tv making millions a year, you're still only human. Prayers for him and his family...

It's a sad situation and I wish the best for his family. Something weird is going on with this though and I won't be surprised if something comes out like the girlfriend shot him or it was related to a past relationship. Too many parts of this story (weird "break-in" a week before, he's known to own guns but grabs a machete to protect himself, nothing in house was gone and it looked like the shooter went straight for the bedroom, etc.) that don't make alot of sense. This story is far from over.

Definitely something up here.
Two weeks ago, there was a break in. Nothing was taken but a knife was left on his pillow. On Monday, the phone wires were cut and the alarm was disabled from inside. Again, nothing was taken.

Diehard Skins fan here and a big Sean Taylor fan. My heart goes out to his daughter/fiance. Such a terrible loss, personally and for the football team.
When I heard about it, I figured he would just pull out of it, once he was in the hospital alive. Never thought he would go. I ache.

Had the pleasure of watching him play in person at Miami many times. He could have been GOAT.
