I dunno about that...a local friend (Stage 6 Motorsports) does turbos for the SRT Jeeps and they're ridiculous and to my knowledge most don't have 'built' or modified trannys.

It 'working' and a factory giving everybody a warranty on it are two different things.

It would be cool if they do it, but with all wheel drive and that much power...seems like trouble

It's really not that bad... the only part of my '14 Overland that is cheap plastic is the lower half of the door panels. The entire dash is wrapped in black leather with lovely white stitching.

True that, stopped over at the dealer yesterday to look at the new diesel 1500 ram and holy nice interior. Black leather with the white stitching looks really nice, nothing like the dodge of 5-7 years ago.

You didn't mention anything about warranty...you said 'tranny probably can't handle it'.

SRT is aligning back with Dodge only from what I've read, however the SRT Jeep is a big seller in the SRT line the article said, so they may continue that vehicle despite the change.

I thought it was implied that a new car from a major manufacturer would have a warranty

You're playing word games. I'm sure if Dodge is able to produce a tranny that can handle it in the Hellcat and warranty said transmission then they could do the same thing for the SRT Jeep.
