Alonso sounds like Tony Montana from scarface when he's yelling on the radio.

It was a great race! Glad to see Kimi back up in the mix. I peg him to win at Spa, possibly even before then.

Also read something about Shumi being pissed at Pirelli for making tires that "80% of the field" cannot drive at the absolute limit.

I can understand what he means, they used to be able to drive the wheels off the car, and now they have to conserve the tires a lot more or they drop off the cliff.

That's what I love about Raikkonen. He always has this no-bullshit approach , especially when it comes to interviews. As a result, you know he means what he says. Reminds me a bit of Webber, too.

Great race, although it was annoying to see Vettel back in that horribly familiar top step. Lotus looking astonishingly quick, it will be interesting to see if they can keep this momentum going in Europe.

Seems like McLaren is their own worst enemy, Lewis did pretty good to end up where he did considering those awful stops, and sigh for Button, he was having a decent race

I think Rosberg got away lucky without a penalty since he did it twice. I like Alonso's yelling and fist waving though - we need more of that. Schumi is definitely contending this year so don't be surprised to see him on the podium relatively soon.

Wait, Sam Michael is McLaren's Sporting Director, which he responsible for pitstops? Damn!!!

The second is the pressure Sam Michael, now responsible for the organisation of McLaren pit stops, finds himself under to find an immediate fix if his reputation is not to suffer lasting damage. The Australian certainly cannot be feeling comfortable at present: Williams, the team he left in November from the role of Technical Director at the end of their worst season in F1, are now in revival, while McLaren, the team he has joined as Sporting Director, are suddenly unable to put on a new set of tyres faster than the average back-street dealership.

Just saw the race. Not sure I like the result, but the race wasn't bad.

McLaren are beyond the point now of having to resolve their pitstop and race strategy situation. How a team with an entire building of technical support during the race can make such bad calls is sad, and I'm a pretty devout fan.

Get the pits together, keep the strategy simple and follow your basic rules of thumb and let Hamilton get on with the racing. At this point, I think he might be eying Mercedes next year, as their current rate of development may put them at number 1.
