Should you tip a car detailer/washer?

Plan on getting my car detailed soon. Probably on a regular basis.

For a $30 carwash or a $185 detail, should a tip be added? And if so, how much?

Yes, especially if you plan on going back. I usually stay around 15%-20%.

Yep. I tip mine around 15%, 20% for a great job. And I tip 'em $20 extra at Xmas - I mean, these poor young guys are making, what, $5-6 in TX heat ....
