No, sorry to disappoint, I don't live at home. Though you'd probably like that, since you most likely lived at home till you shipped out and your daddy beat you and your mom molested you.

Good move, kid. I hope you die in defense of whatever it is you stand for.

Meanwhile, ya, I'm in Oregon, living the life. As a matter of fact, ya, I'm rich enough not to serve in the military. Does that make you mad? Does it make you envious? Sure seems like it does. But really, don't be mad at me because I don't need to fight in needless wars to pay my rent. I'd been around the globe 3 times over by the time you enlisted.

Really, it must suck for ya.

White trash like you is the reason we're able to wage the war, so I guess I should thank you.
Rich enough to live in Oregon

I was going to get one if they had decided to boost it. Plus, I also hate the new body stylings, they say that they are trying to get more female drivers into the coupes, that is why it has the curvy feminine front end.

The G37 has nothing to go on. The only slight edge they have is in their LSD and suspension. Even then, who cares? The 335i isn't a sports/track car, it's a sporty luxury car. If they want to take up a track car, well, pit yourself up against our lovely M3, Nissan.

Another thing I can't stand in these car companies is the mother company limiting them on what they can and can't do. That's one of the many reasons I'm not an Audi fan. Mercedes and BMW are amazing vehicles for a reason. Their uninhibited design and freedom are what makes them so great. It's like our democratic/capitalistic competative marketplace versus the communist dictatorship of command. It's obvious which systems flourish and why.

The G37 isnt a sport/track car either. Its a sport/uxury car also. I think everyone needs to face that each car has its pros and cons. Its just which are more important to you, and whichever you find more appealing, you will buy. Thats how it is with any comparison. Thats why we compare, contrast and then come to a final conclusion. Many are gonna go for the 335i but I honestly think the G37 is gonna sell more because of the price difference and the more HP. BMW know hp isnt everything, so they have a huge about of torque with a low and flat torque curve. Infiniti usually leads in the HP department because people in the US always compare horses so that will be their selling point. At the end of the day they are both two great cars. You just have to be the judge.

When I look at these 2 cars I look at the Price, the 335 is going to attract a much more mature crowd, who can afford the more expensive brand. While the G37 will attract more 20 year olds who know most likely less about the auto industry and just want a fast car with a larger HP number. For me though, the G37 brings up an interesting point only because it is 10 grand cheaper than the 335i.

I get where you are going with this. But there seems to be a ongoing perception on this board that those who are not willing to pay the extra money (8-10k) are not car lovers or are somehow not as informed. The fact is that the G35 provides an exceptional car for the money. All things being equal, I think the 335 is a better car, but that amount of money is a huge factor.

Does anyone else find it odd that Infiniti brought the 335i they used for comparison? WOW...I was just reading some of the back and forth discussions in this thread...there are some real dicks on here. I'm always amused when people on internet forums talk about how much money they have...it usually means quite the opposite is true.

no one really knows.
why don't we all just wait til g37 is officially on sale and go test drive it. and we all can come to our own conclusions as to which car is better. i've always been saying that you can't compare cars on papers. go drive them. then you'll know which one you like/think is better.

Good lord, I didn't even see the sissy fight between n1smo and king. Please get out of here. You both are entirely ignorant, hypocrits, and cannot formulate a non-ad hominum-based argument if your lives depended on it.

wut a surprise...another thread that turned into infinity vs. bmw. noone has driven the new g37 and i have no doubt that it'll be a great car. infinity seems to keep improving. will they be able to catch up to the bavarian king. who knows. but i'm glad these competition produces awesome cars.

i do agree on the looks tho. i have to see it in person, but just based on the pix, i like the old lines of the g35 better. the interior is much much better tho.

carry on....

who told you that, for the money you can't beat the G37 coupe, but for people that have money growing in their backyard and could care less about other investments like a 401k, they can go get a "overpriced" BMW, not saying anything bad about BMW, just overpriced for what you are getting performance wise to the Japanese manufacturers, for a 330hp 280LB FT car for $37,000 is hard to beat, the 335i at 300/300 is $50,000, you do the math, I know myself those extra $13,000 would look much better in my IRA, than in BMW's IRA.

What I've seen in this forum when comparing other competitors' vehicles to ours is that --- BMW rules them all. Of course, it's a BMW forum....people in here will defend their cars to the end without having first hand experience or knowing the facts behind each statement.

Every forum is the same. I'm sure in the G37 forum.....they're comparing the G37 to the M6....not the 335i.

*I've heard my Honda Fit destroyed a Corvette on the track*
