Looking at '02 330Ci Conv. - want advice
It's dark blue with a blue top and tan leather, 75k miles, premium package, auto(it's for the wife), sport package, cold weather package, 17 inch double spoke sport wheels, side airbags. Carfax looks good, regular service. Car is in really good shape overall.
Hoping to pay $13k or a little less. Anything I should be on the lookout for? I have never owned a BMW before. What are the problems and expensive fixes for these cars? Do these cars have timing chains or belts??? Thanks for any help io advance! Eric |

My cousin drives a '02-model coupe. He has never had any big expences except for the regular services. If the car is maintained regularely the risk should be small. These engines are reliable. Take a closer look at the soft top and its mechanism. This can be costly to fix.
Go for it!
