After my digital key plus unlock the door, I’m not automatically login to my BMW ID.

I tried to link my Digital Key PLUS in Driver Recognition but the i5 cannot find it.

According to official tutorial (ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmF-lvmiWP8) Driver Recognition supports Digital Keys. But only the physical key card was demoed in the video.

Has anyone able to login to their BMW ID with only their phone as key? Seems like a gross oversight if it’s not supported.

Yep, same place you can link the card, or a physical key, has a list of devices that contain a digital key, and allows you to put a checkbox beside the ones that you want to automatically log your BMW ID in.

lilstevie My Digital Key Plus didn’t show up in the list of Digital Key after multiple searching. Do you mind showing a photo of what your list look like?

From the car, select your BMW ID and then scroll down to the keys and check the boxes for both the physical key and the digital key. That allows you to use either one to pull up your BMW ID when you get in. This assumes that you have already set up your Digital Key Plus on your phone using the BMW app.
