Some Charging Stats From a Recent Trip from Los Angeles to Palm Springs

Highlights: The trip to Palm Springs was more efficient than the trip home: 4mi/kWh vs. 3.7mi/kWh. I suspect because it was warmer (in the 70s F that day - on the way home, it was 50s and 60s). The Level 2 charger at the BMW Performance Center was also free, but only charged at about 6 kW. I got lucky at the Electrify America chargers - there were two cars waiting before me, but they were not in their car so I was able to start charging right away with no delay. Lucky! Here are pictures of the first trip from the myBMW app, then the second trip, and the two charging sessions (Level 2 and then the EA charge session).
