Our 2025 X3 G45 Preview Renderings

Here are our 2025 X3 G45 preview renderings based on the looks of the prototype seen in:

https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1932502
https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2097256
https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2098248

The latest info / specs from our Future BMW Models thread:
  • In production 08/24-10/33 with LCI in 11/28.
  • This is the traditional X3 with gas, diesel, and hybrid versions. The full EV role is going to the Neue Klasse. There will still be X3M (G97).
  • Intro models: Worldwide 20d xDrive, 20 xDrive, 30e xDrive, M50 xDrive; US 30 xDrive and M50 xDrive.
  • 03/25: Adding worldwide 20 (no x) and 40d xDrive (B57, 280hp).
  • No new engines, making a step up in luxury (standard comfort access, optional Iconic Glow exterior like on the next 5 series, fancier interior materials, driver aids matching the current X5 - also means no L3 autonomy, the best audio is still HK, ID8 dash).
  • M50x specifics: standard M Sport suspension (adaptive optional), standard Iconic Glow, 20" wheels, and the usual M interior and exterior parts.
  • Known colors: Dark Graphite, Black Sapphire, Arctic Race Blue, Mineral White, Mineral Red, Skyscraper Gray, Brooklyn Gray.
  • Specifications:
    - Length: 4755mm
    - Width w/o mirrors: 1920mm
    - Height: 1660mm
    - Wheelbase: 2865mm
    - Leg Room: 1021mm front, 923mm rear
    - Luggage volume: 570l/1700l
    - Curb weight: 20dx - 1890kg, 20x - 1855kg, M50x EU - 1980kg, 30x US - 1894kg, M50x US - 2057kg
    - Towing capacity: 20dx, M50x EU - 2500kg, 20x - 2400kg, 30x US - 1815kg, M50x US - 2200kg
    - Tires: 225/60R18 square base models, 30x - 245/50R19 square, M50x - 255/45R20 front + 285/40R20 rear or 255/40R21+285/35R21.

Looks like a bigger X1. I’m glad I made the move to order a G05 M40 while I could.

Looks more evolutionary like the Audi Q5. It definitely looks different but not in a severe or outrageous way.

It’ll follows the X1s design, which is great. But I think it’s a mistake not to make an ICE X4 for this generation, let alone X3/4M EV only.

Good job!

If it looks like that then fantastic, I’ve not liked the new 5 series, X1 or X2 front styling, but this is a little less extreme and looks good!

(Let’s hope it has some physical controls for climate and heating inside 😂 and least rendered anyway)

Definitely looks like an updated X5 but squished…will have to wait until seeing the formal reveal and real life photos.

I meant the x5. Those triangle arrow looking lights they came out with now are hideous and don’t even represent the BMW halo.
It’s nice to see they have somewhat traditional style in the x3 still

Looks OK. Expect lots of cost cutting inside the cabin.

What’s the power of the 50 model? Can’t see that anywhere here or links?

Edit: found it elsewhere.
