My i5 steering wheel heat turns on every time I start the car. I turn it off and next time it's on again.

I set the individual climate settings to OFF. Each time I start up the car the wheel heat setting reverts to VERY HIGH.

Anyone else having this problem?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to save a trip to the dealer. The car is less than a week old.

What’s your temperature outside? Mine only comes on if the temperature is under about 45°. If it’s above that, it stays normal. It’s a convenience feature.

I believe You can turn it off via automatic program.
Page 273, 274 and 279 in the manual.
