Delivery in two hours - last minute advice?
530i X-drive. Black Sapphire. Veganza/Alcantara. M Sport.
I once bought wheel/tire coverage for a Mercedes. Very expensive. But it did prevent me from ever scraping the rims! ha. Any thoughts on the BMW coverage? Also very expensive. But then again those M Star 20" are expensive too. Going for Graphene and window tint immediately to a local shop. Am I forgetting anything? Thanks! |

I generally pass on extended warranties and the like but due to the amount of technology and electronics in these cars and the fact that I keep my cars for 6 to 7 years I may consider it this time.
Interested in the opinion of others re: whether it's better to get this directly from BMW at the time of purchase or if aftermarket extended warranties are as good. And congratulations on the new vehicle! |

thanks everyone!! I decided to "self-insure" on the wheel/tire protection.
overall impressions: incredible array of electronics. too much glossy black. and Harmon Karden instead of B&W<??>. more on that later. |

I skipped, since the dealer was only offering wheel and tire. I've never had problems with the rims themselves, but tires can be problematic. I self-insured this time. From the weight of the car, I suspect that the tires are going to only be worth 10-15K miles anyway. That matches what people in the i4 are reporting.
