Well, this is after today's wash, I was curious about DIY details interior ceramic so I'm giving it a shot. Coated the interior I'll see how it holds up. For interiors I usually use Gyeon products... With today's weather I was tempted to put on my 21" wheels that I purchased as those 19's look kinda small lol. But with the weather turning sooner rather than later I'll wait till spring for those.

Thanks for the photos, the car looks great! I really like the contrast between the dark exterior and the light interior. I think you made the right choice on those wheels - it's going to get cold very fast!

Looks great! Love the interior, especially seeing it in real photos, rather than via configurations/simulations. Really glad I went with Smoke White. I'm planning on using Gyeon as well. Seems to be the best product, I've found in reviews, so good to hear that works well.

Glad the ordeal is finally over for you, and you can shift your forum focus to actually USING the car now.

Thank you! The interior looks awesome! Driving at night is another level with the ambient lighting. I know a lot of people complained about the the finish of the interior compared to the G30 and I agree, but think this is a great place to unwine after a long day at work!

I was just driving on the Autobahn and suddenly got notification about integrated brake possible failure.
I have checked my VIN and car is eligible for technical service.
Car was produced in April 2024 and it happened today at 12.000km mileage.
It is 520xd.

Well, I can’t really fault the sales guy at the dealership when it comes time for me to do that, but if there’s a separate survey for the corporation, I would nuke them with sufficient force to turn glass to molten liquid.

I hate that stuff. I know that they’re rated on these surveys but at some point being asked for a 9 or 10 after all that???? What a joke

How did you qualify for the $1000 concession? Is that something BMW offered right out of the gate? Or did you have to strongarm them for one?

Where did you find the organizer along the transmission tunnel on the passenger side? How do you like it thus far?

Not exactly sure. Sales guy sent me an email after one of my complaints telling me that corporate was providing a $1,000 concession. Subsequent to that, he mentioned that not everyone was receiving it. And at delivery he said everyone caught up in the stop sale was receiving it. Consistently unreliable info from them!

Secondly, here's my story. My wife and I were looking into the i5 and found one at the dealer lot (2024 eDrive40) that had the packages that we were looking for:
-M Sport
-DAPP
-Premium
-Sliding sunroof (as opposed to the Sky Lounge)

The SA informed us of the Stop Sale so we thought we were SOL, especially after reading about multiple delays and people not knowing the status of their (your) deliveries due to poor communication from BMW. This was the first week of October. We thought it best to wait until the 2025's, with no Stop Sale, started rolling out. In the second week of October, the SA let us know that one was already on a vessel that met our criteria, plus the addition of ventilated seats. Brooklyn grey with black veganza interior. We jumped on it and reserved it with $1k down. It was on the Jasmine Leader vessel that got to Port Hueneme yesterday. We should be taking delivery of the car by next Monday (11/11).

Excitedly waiting to take delivery. Hoping the best for all those who are still waiting. I also checked the VIN against the BMW Safety and Emission Recalls webiste and it came back clean. Good luck everyone!
