Hmm, I don't think so. For instance, BMW used the chassis of the 440 Gran Coupe for the i4 40i / i4 M50i. This had to be eazy-peasy for them to do. So, adding a single motor or dual eMotors the chassis of the current X5/X7 would be very easy to do. That's why I said they really didn't need to dump all that money into the iX.

Now, I'm prolly just speaking for myself,...but I'd take the X5's design over the iX all day long.

Lastly, I know BMW doesn't want to hear this,...but that upcoming Chevy eBlazer design language looks very promising! ijs
