I am not a fan of this solution either. It's a roulette that I would never wanna play.

For what's worth it, maybe you can retrofit that "cartridge" with the spare. I vaguely recall a thread in the G30 forum on this topic (I had the spare in the LCI). Alternatively, and for peace of mind, you can always switch to RFTs. If I am to be honest RFTs of today are not what they used to be 10 years ago. They are just fine and don't bubble as easily.

This practice is actually not unprecedented. Most new\modern M cars (if not all) do not offer a spare and they do not come with RFTs. If something happens it's either a flat bed or that mobility kit.
