My wife and I can EASILY and safely do 1,000 miles in a day, and an anemic 250-300-mile range, shortened drastically by wind, hills, and higher speed, simply doesn’t cut it.
What’s with the totally unnecessary ageism “geriatic apologists” & “small bladder” commentary here. This forum is overwhelmingly supportive of those who post, love our cars, and want to share in helpful BMW dialogue. I believe in teachable moments, so here is my female geriatic response: I’m about to turn 62 years old. I am still a college professor, still play co-ed basketball, still climb stairs to my season tix for the Golden State Warriors, just today babysat my new grandniece all day long, and can hold my bladder way beyond 4 hours. If you don’t want the EV 5, as others have responded to your post, then just don’t get one. In the meantime, I hope that you can see the beauty in those on here who have enjoyed some life longevity as we continue to be performance car enthusiasts and share in a mostly helpful, fun on-line community.
