I think they missed an opportunity to provide a 400+ mile EV version. That would dominate the current electric sedan options near this price point. Given a choice at a modestly higher price, I bet people would prefer the higher range version over the base eDrive.

Would it though? I'm of the opinion that overall range is overrated. I've never once got range anxiety in my i4 because most people rarely have to drive that much very frequently and if you did, I'd argue that an EV still isn't ideal for that use case.
