BTW probably not the right place to discuss this but what exactly is the point of the driving modes when you can change any aspect of them other than in Sport mode?

The driving modes (my modes) change driving performance and ambient light settings too as well as the HUD and instrument panel settings. Not sure what you mean exactly, but in sport mode you have a lot of possible customizations of the driving performance. Not so in the other modes. Sport mode cannot be set as the startup mode.
