Cobalt is being phased out of battery chemistries anyway.

If cobalt mining is the worst thing you can pull out here, then it seems like a clear winner. The global impact of climate change is going to be destructive to far more people. I never heard a peep about cobalt, tantalum, and other conflict mineral mining (both widely used in electronics for 40+ years) from this crowd until EVs became a political item.
