My wife and I can EASILY and safely do 1,000 miles in a day, and an anemic 250-300-mile range, shortened drastically by wind, hills, and higher speed, simply doesn’t cut it.
Sorry. I am 67 and suffer from both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. I cannot sit that long even in a car as comfortable as my i5. Come and talk to me in 30 years and see if you are still driving 1,000 miles in one stretch. You probably don’t travel with children or pets. This makes you an outlier.
