The proportions are just very odd. It looks compressed from the sides, stretched up from the top, and like an SUV/2GC from the front.
The front doesn’t match the exterior styling and overall side profile is really bad looking.

Well it could be lower but then you would most likely end up with bad knee angle for the rear passengers, and that's not how it's supposed to be.
I'd rather have a car that rides a bit higher but with superior seating comfort.
Tesla suffers from bad ergonomics in the S and 3. Haven't tested the new S so can't say much there.
