No. The slogan which I think accurately describes BMW's products today is:
"The Ultimate Gadget Machine". The driving part of their old slogan went out the window with the advent of ~2.5 tonne X-SUVs and various >=2.0 tonne M-Cars. The interior gadgetry seems off the charts to me and adds a lot of weight to haul around. The reason Tesla can manage to pull off the gadgetry is because the Tesla brand has been built on a hi-tech gadget promise. Roll on the Apple car which may usurp "The Ultimate Gadget Machine" on wheels promise. Car & Driver wrote an article on this same topic not too long ago.
