Extended warranties

With the complexity of these cars I've been poking around. After some online research I've found some consensus that Endurance seems to be viewed as the best option.
However when I called I was given a quote of $7328 for a policy that covers everything other than wiper blades, tires and the like subject to a $100 deductible per repair (regardless of how many things are to be repaired) which would be paid directly to the repair shop/dealership by them. This policy would be in effect for six years or 125k miles, whichever comes first.
But the hitch is that this takes effect now (or actually after 30 days) which really doesn't make sense as the car is fully covered for four years/50k by BMW itself. So I'd effectively only be buying this to take me from 50k miles to 125k.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be welcomed.
