Well, I guess that your drive it daily, because if you don’t that car is a pain to keep. The Li battery has its own cooling system, is very expensive, needs charging, which depletes the rear/trunk battery continuously. And, to put more shame on the cake, charging doesn’t work and BMW does not offer an official answer in regards to the problem that many have with this MHT.
Bottom line, you can not have such car as a toy. I am gone for a while, but I already started asking around to sell mine. I really like the carbut I don’t want something that every month needs to be charged via trunk and requires that kind of mainetnance. Sorry, for the money I want something good, reliable and trustworthy.
So no, new technology doesn’t necessary mean better.
