I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about Deutsche Bank, maybe Goldman Sachs, but whats the general consensus from you investors here on this? I'm still trying to find a firm with a proven track history and good intelligence.
Go to a few different places and talk with them. Don't go in there trying to sell yourself to them, make them sell themselves to you. Have questions ready, and determine which best aligns with the types of investments you want to be in. You may also want to use more then one place to have yourself spread out a bit. If one brokerage is more aggressive then another, and you want some aggressive investments then maybe put 40% or so with them, and use another one for more conservative moves. In the end, you want them working for you doing the kind of investments you want done, and for them to bring you ideas and have them explain why a certain idea is good for you.
