Aside from spending $7k on an F/I tt or S/C'd setup on a G37, it just cannot keep up with a modded BMW 335i (that is already F/I to begin with).
By comparison, an F/I tt 335i can be modded for < $1k to produce a car with >410BHP/440 lb.-ft. TQ that puts the BMW in a different league in terms of power and speed; the kind of power that will blow away any G37 any day of week. I love the Infiniti's, but in terms of potential power, there's just no comparison. However, I agree the interior and electronics (especially the Nav system) of the Infiniti is much nicer than the BMW though.

Not everyone wants to potentially void their warranty, and mod their car until their engine blows up just because "it's cheaper."
If you wanted to make that argument, then you wasted your money on a 335i because a modded supra will SMOKE a modded 335i, and probably most Ferraris, all for less than $50,000.
