Not trying to convince you... but I had exactly the same thoughts when buying a boxter for my wife. I just couldn't force myself to get such a nice car with automatic. But in my case my wife doesn't really like manuals, though she was willing to get it if it was a Porsche
But when we found her Spyder with exact color combo she wanted, and it was with PDK... and I tried it for myself...
Man! I really think that manual in this car will make it worse! It's a perfect drivers car in all aspects (except practicality
). Its precision is overwhelming and I'll never ever be able to do shifts that well
And when I get a chance driving it there is not a single moment when I would regret not having the third pedal in this car
PS: but all said above applies to Spyder only. I didn't feel the same way in a regular Boxter
