Experiment with charging
Hi All - whilst I know our cars are not self charging hybrids as such, I’ve been experimenting with recovery charging in different modes. I’ve found that in ‘individual’ mode, you are lucky to recover one mile of battery with a max recovery on a run of 3 miles over around a 20 mile journey.
In sport mode however, a similar 20
Mile run will put around 7 miles of battery back in. Initially I thought it was driving style been different but the more I try it, the more it seems consistent. I get more regen in sport than in individual!
Anyone else found this or am I just imagining it. 530e m sport pro.
