Spoken by someone who really has no clue. Electric vehicles have a motor. They last forever. I am still using my mother’s mixer from the 1950’s. Now power those motors in the most efficient way possible - magnetic power via lithium ions. Lithium is an atom. Atoms are also around forever. Maybe you don’t get excited by chemistry, but not everyone was a science major.
Burning stuff is fun, but it’s a crude way of capturing energy.
