Sorry if I make no sense, I try to learn about this more. I tried to sell it for other reasons and realized I was offered $45k because of the Stop Sale, whereas I bought it for $65k just 5 months ago.

There are 2 problems with this.
1. your car is not affected by the recall, therefore there is nothing the dealer needs to disclose. If anything they could have mentioned that your car is not affected by the current recall because it has already been checked....
And 2. when a recall is issued by the manufacturer, any vehicles currently under construction will have the issue verified and, if necessary, corrected before they leave the factory during post-production inspections. So again, nothing to disclose.
Sorry about your (Hopefully Temporary) loss. But I don't think a lawsuit would get you anything if that's where you are thinking. Any lawyers in the group?
