I'm not sure if it was only the M60, but I don't recall any 40 owners indicating they had the issue. That could be because there were not a lot of 40 owners speaking up, or because it is an M60 issue. I would think the valve is the same on both cars, but who knows. I have had my 40 for 3 weeks and have not heard that noise.
