You "dunno" because none of those extreme points is any better then the other.
The truth is in between.
"a)" is only appropriate when you do believe she said nonsense. Relying on this all the time is stupid and rude. Not funny.
"b)" is all right if you feel comfortable with it, just don't put it all on her - make a simple, constructive
conclusion to convey.
Show some respect, don't make it too much of a (annoying, confusing) burden for her.
