It was bought by Rick Hendrick long time Nascar owner. He has had a relationship with GM for decades. He buys all their charity Vin #1's at Barret Jackson. His net worth is in the billions. Since is was for charity, anything over msrp is a tax write off. |
It was probably a GM guy bidding it up for show. Lol. Glad that it sold for charity. Hopefully the charity gets most of the money unlike most. Poor car will sit in a garage and collect dust. I have 3 deposits down for the Z06's. If I get 1, I will sell it for my charity 😆🤑
