I deal w/ lawn rust every year. Starts on the clumping fescue and spreads to the weaker areas of the lawn. Preventatively treat you yard once the humidity is up and the nights are cool.

There are different options to treat it and you're technically supposed to switch 'active ingredients' each application to prevent fungi from becoming tolerant.
