In most cases a misdemeanor results in almost no impact on your life unless you continue to get in trouble. It could mean that if you were to appear in court again a judge may charge you more harshly and perhaps if you were to pursue a career in law enforcement or military a drug possession charge would disqualify you. However i dont see an alcohol possession charge resulting in any serious consequence.
