One thing on your side is that a BMW deanship recommends them. If they give you shit you tell them you'll be registering a complaint with the dealership that recommended them.

Paint chipping isn't the bumper's fault. That excuse holds about as much water as saying that your passenger seatbelt chipped the paint.
