I've seen kids with PA's... Though I'll grant you they're usually instructed to act as baby sitter/chaperone/pay bail.

Come to think of it, I've got one in a drawer somewhere. I think it's German. Don't recall what brand but it could go really deep underwater, it doesn't need winding or a battery and it syncs time somehow.
