So I bought this coming from an IPhone 5 and here's my take:
Short version: I love it
Long version: The UI is not THAT different from Apple and fairly intuitive. I got the hang of it in one afternoon of use. The touch screen is perfect and the virtual keyboard one of the best I've ever used. I like the "Hub" as it centralizes most of my account to one screen. The camera could be better but - honestly - what are you going to use it for? For most intents and purposes the camera is more than sufficient and has some cool edits like sepia, black and white, etc.
If you need more, just transfer to your desktop and use photo shop. Easy.
I do miss Shazam. I asked shazam on Twitter if they planned on doing a BB10 app and they said "Not now". Also, no Temple Run if you like games you'll know that one.
Music will transfer perfectly fine. Also, the Z10 syncs with E9x blue tooth absolutely perfectly.
I had issues with battery drainage at first. One reason is some glitches with a couple of side loaded apps. The other is that you can run live apps simultaneously. Once I downloaded the patches and started closing apps, I've not had any issues with battery life. Stand by in the holster makes it last more than a day. Plus I have chargers at homes, in the car and in my office. No problems
Summary: All around fantastic and highly recommended.
