The History Channel Top Gear US version you are speaking of should premier in the fall, but no firm dates are announced IIRC. Tanner Foust will stay on with new hosts Adam Ferrara (a very funny dude) and Rutledge Wood (some NASCAR analyst).

Oh History Channel picked that up? I know the original NBC version was dropped

I have satellite and won't get it. People record it in England (I'm assuming) and post it online...I think BBC America only broadcasts episodes a few seasons old

It was. At the time, focus group results led Clarkson to believe that Americans "don't get it." After a change in personnel, The History Channel is trying to put it on.

I read an article that said the format should be the same, and a Kia Rio will be the reasonably priced car. :barf:

I wonder about those focus groups, because I haven't showed Top Gear to someone who doesn't like it. My mom knows nothing about cars, for example, her two requirements for the new car she bought was "it has to have heated seats and a spoiler," and she loves Top Gear. Even my girlfriend who can't even drive likes it enough to watch it with me
