last year nobody left the track with nice feelings especially people who were close with Hubert.. it can be nice to remember this young and fast guy died on track.. :( :(

this race it ll be the first race after FIA bans using multiple engine maps during the race.. we ll see what sort of things this ll change on 30th.. here is the last years race day highlights..

and here is a side to side comparison with Leclerc's last years quali lap vs. Porsche 919 Evo lap.. actually this lap is slower than 919's fastest lap.. 919 is like 0.8s faster than last years quali lap of Leclerc's.. but better to keep in mind that 919 have no regulation limitations.. its a fantasy car..

I hear ya. The only English options I have are ESPN and F1TV and both are Crofty/Brundle commentary. There's no way I can tolerate ads interrupting the race on ESPN so I have to go with F1TV.

Dillion Shelley is a nobody and makes click bait videos. Sometimes they're true and sometimes they're not.

ESPN hasnt had any ads since last year. I didnt renew my F1TV because of that.

I haven't checked ESPN since last year tbh. Good to know thanks

As for the cars: The Merc's high output engines will not like the rain and more importantly the low rake floor isn't ideal for standing water. Ferrari will not have a problem with engine output and the high rake will benefit them but the low downforce means aquaplaning chances are higher. RB, RP, and Renault will be in a good position.
For the drivers: Max always shines in the rain. HAM is 99% perfect in the rain. BOT is yet to show a good performance in rain. Perez has a good car and he's generally good when it's wet. Seb had good performances in the rain but he also had miserable mistakes. Leclerc was really fast in Spa in F2 and qualified in pole 7 tenths up on P2.
So it should be a good race as there's a mix of good/better cars with good/better drivers. Let's just hope that Qualy is wet too?

Saturday QF => 50% chance of rain showers .
Sunday Race => 80% chance of light rain .

Rain on Francorchamps makes me think about accidents . Hopefully it remains safe during the race ..
