That's be beauty of our cars. We each mod, love and treat our cars in a very personal way. I personally only have performance summer tires that when it's in the 30's (F) they slick even on dry until the warm up which is usually right about the time I'm pulling into the front gate. I've got another car that has winter tires on it. If I spend time/money cleaning my car I hate just taking it right back out into the rain.
Sorry this wasn't a rant but I've been asked or commented about this a couple of times.
