    i am sorry I did not see this show up until now, You should have sent a private message verse a profile message. Did you get you issue resolved with the dealer. If not, yeah there are PA consumer laws on what a dealer is allowed to do. You are actually allowed 3 days to back out of any deal in PA even if you brought the car. Now they may be able to charge you for miles on the car if you drove it around a lot. In your case it never got that far. I would be all over them if they held my deposit, since they just keeps them from selling to someone else.

    hi.. on a post i just read here, you said in PA all deposits are refundable within three days, no matter the reason. how do you know this? is there some statute or something? I have a dealer situation in PA with a refund being held. i did sign a sales agreement, but never drove the car off or secured financing. discovered the dealer advertised a lower price than the one he sold me the car for, and would not renegotiate. he refused to refund deposit when i rescinded the deal the next day. what do you advise?
